What is Braille and Tactile Graphics?
Thousands of tiny bumps on a surface can be touched and perceived as braille or tactile graphics
- Braille is a read and write system at the core of literacy for the blind. It enables command over a language, better grasping and conceptualization, day to day independence and opens up multiple opportunities
- Tactile graphics is the only way spatial content can be perceived by a blind person. This could be the layout of a website, a graph, diagram or even Google Maps

Globally there are around 50 Million visually impaired people. In India there are 12 Million which is estimated to increase in the next few decades
